Thread subject: Diptera.info :: [Exorista larvarum female] Tachinidae - Exorista female ?

I've seen this tachinidae in the "Fagne of Malchamps" (heathland, peaty soil).
(Belgium,17-8-2009,about 10mm,)
Is it a female of Exorista ? With 4 post DC, group larvarum ?

larvarum and fasciata can occur together and females are difficult to separate.
I didn't see the last pic the first time, I don't know why.
Anyway, it clearly shows larvarum.
So no more doubts

Yes, and the broadening of the dust band on tergites, especially at ventral side, well shown in first pipc.
