Hi!

Sorry for the bad pictures, this only 3.5-4 mm long fly was running around on Impatiens leaves at a forest path (northwest Germany). Is it a Rhinophorid?

Melanomyia nana male, a Rhinophorid-like Calliphoridae
(used to be in Rhinophoridae)

Very common but easily overlooked.
