Hello!

Am I right here with Siphona sp. for this 4 mm fly from a marguerite in our garden (northwest Germany)?

Yes - Siphona sp. - they usually appear to be all light-brown and orange with a slightly hunched-over shape, even if you can't quite see the long, hinged proboscis. :)
