first when i was it in the field i thought "a nice Syrphid" but back home, when i had a look to the gallery i couldn't find it ...

Seine et Marne, 50 km south of Paris, France. about 4-5 mm.

it seems to be distinctive ...

Don't worry, they fool me all the time, especially in areas where they are very common. And they are rather variable too!! But all seem to be only 1 species.
