Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tabanidae

Hello,

Today I found this Tabanidae in Weert in the south of the Netherlands.
In the gallery I don't see any species which likes on this species.
Is it possible to say anything about the ID of this species?

It's a male.
Perhaps Heptatoma pellucens

and it has UV-reflection on its upper eye facets.
Way before polaroid !!
