Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid/Rhinophorid? very long tarsi

I'm not sure about the affiliation of this one. For me, it could be Tachinidae but also Rhinophridae. What surprised me are the elongated tarsi.

The very large calypters adjoining the scutellum margin rule out Rhinophoridae.
This is a male Dinera ferina, if I'm not wrong.
