Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small Fanniidae? (07.08.09) --> Anthomyiidae

Hello!

An only 3-3.5 mm fly from a dish with fruit bait in the garden (northwest Germany) last week. Could it be a Fannia sp. male?

A little bit larger, but less sharp.

One for the study...
Anthomyiidae
Legs black, t2 with 1 ad, hind femur with numerous ad and t3 with 2 ad...and abdomen very short....
Pegomya sp. (maybe argyrocephala)
Probleby totaly wrong...:D

Thanks a lot! With these tiny "muscid likes" I'm mostly totally helpless...
