Stockholm, Sweden. On the outskirts of the wood, a lot of young Populus tremula, and a lot of Chrysomela populi, adults and larvae. Thatīs the environment of this tiny fly. It was also very intrested in the beetles, maybe a parasite on Chrysomela populi?
Yesterday, 10 aug -09. Ca 5-7 mm.
No good pictures, sorry. Any ideas or thoughts?

Unfortunately the pictures are blurred, but I think it is a
Dolichopus sp.
Dolichopodidae are predatory flies, not parasites.
