It's a species of Microdon, Syrphidae.
If you change the title to Microdon, it'll catch the attention of Menno Reemer, who might be able to tell you the species!

Wow, interesting! It looks like
Microdon trigonospilus Bezzi or at least closely related. This is the closest I (or anyone else) can come to an ID. This species is so far only known from the type specimen, which was captured in Honan Canton, La Kow in 1925.
I am working on the taxonomy of
Microdon and its allies worldwide. This is a very interesting species, and I would very much like to get a fresh specimen of it for DNA analysis. Do you have an opportunity of going back there and capture a specimen?
