Is this Mintho rufiventris? Have I overlooked any other possibilities? I found this fly yesterday in De Bilt (the Netherlands).

To me it looks like Eriothrix rufomaculata :)

And this one? Its body shape looks different (laterally compressed). You don't notice the red when you look from above.

haha, yes this one looks like Mintho ;) The abdomen is much more laterally compressed and there are just 2 clear, wide vittae on the anterior part of the thorax :)
