Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae - Aphria sp. from Serra da Estrela.

Hi
I found this tachinid today in Nave de Santo António. I discussed this fly with my friend Chris and he suggested the Aphria sp. I'm convinced that this is the correct genus.
Now it lacks to know the species for this one: longirostris, or latifrons?

It is Aphria, indeed, the species are very similar.

Jorge now has a French version of Mesnil's
Aphria key, so we wait with baited breath while he uses Google Translate ;)
