I think this fly is a Siphona, but could species be tolt from these pictures?

What makes
S.flavifrons so easy? :) Every tiem I think I have something that works as a "quick and easy rule of thumb" for a
Siphona I find that it doesn't work! ;)

It is completely yellow (the male, that is) and the head profile is very elongated, more or less like maculata.
