The size would match
Phytobia better than
Agromyza.

Hi Kahis / Paul
So it is Agromyzidae...
Phytobia or
Agromyza.
Well if you put the two together you get
Phytomyza which is the type on my Checklist. There are three listed;
P.angelica,
P.lonicera and
P.syngenisiae.
Don't know if that is of any help. If size matters, I'd say this was probably closer to 3mm than 4mm, hard to remember, I think I tend to over-estimate.
Regards and thanks for your replies.....Roger
