I found tabanus like
http://upload.wik...%A4nen.JPG this and I now have problems with ID's. Otherwise it looks like tabanus bromius, but the eyes don't quite match. Could you help me with ID's?

Theo will tell more about the possible species of this Hybomitra. He is the world expert in this family! ;)

EVen experts need several excellent pics of one specimen.
What bothers me is that the upper facets are enlarged whereas the notopleural lobes are dark. This suggests distinguende (it is a male, by the way).
I'd need to have a good picture of the first tergites, or better, the fly itself,
