Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Platypalpus with prey (24.06.09)

Hello!

A 2-3 mm Platypalpus (Hybotidae) with even smaller prey (a Cecidomyiid I think, they were numerous at the light). Can it be IDed to species level? End of June at light in our garden (northwest Germany).

Prey is ceratopogonid.
