Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Smallish Tachinidae ??

Seeing a lot of these flies in the garden at the moment often hanging about on flowers. Taken Yesterday south coast UK- about 4mm body length.
Can only guess at it being a Tachinid ??

My first thought is Phania sp but Wait for experts

Maybe not Phania, but Leucostoma?

Rhinophora lepida (Rhinophoridae).

Very common at the moment

Oh, the topcell is stalked, that is why.
The mouth margin is projecting, contra Leucostoma
