This week several different Tabanidae were trapped in our conservatory. The weather was ...hot.
Yesterday we found a shokking big Tabanus sudeticus

and today a hybomitra was lucky we found it before dehydration.
Does anyone know a second name for this?

TAbanus sudeticus is correct, this time, for a change.
