Hello,

this ~5mm fly is from beginning of June from a small forest near Cologne. I am not even sure about the family.

What is it?

Lauxaniidae. Looks lik Minettia fasciata group.

Hello Paul,

thank yor for your answer. The pictures of Minettia fasciata fit rather well. The stripes on the abdomen are also here.
