Thread subject: Diptera.info :: red thing

The best photo before it runned away. It is like Sepsis fulgens(from far, behaviour and size), but to the best of my knovledge it should have black dot on vings, also the body shape does not match.

And obvious question , what is red thing on its back ?

red mite ! Probably larvae of Erythraeidae :)
