Hi,
can aynone put a name to this interesting fly?
Frank Marquard has already identified this as Cylindromyia spec. - is there a chance for a closer id?
Germany, Hamburg, 21.06.2009
Thanks & Rgds

Very hard to say - do you have photos from more angles? I would have to follow it through the key and although I can see a pv bristle on the hind tibia I can't see if it has apical scutellars or not :)

Hello,
thought I'd push this one up to the top of the page once more...
Will file it under
Cylindromia spec for now, but would love an ID if possible :)
Thanks & Rgds
