Found this morning wandering over Goat Willow in the garden...Looks like P umbellatarum in the Gallery....is also on my Checklist.
Was almost eaten alive with Midges taking these photo's so am I right for once??

Law of averages has to kick in sometime. And it is probably one of the easier flies to ID...Wing patterns etc..
