Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Clusiodes species

14 june 2009, Netherlands, Voorsterbos.
On dead Salix alba in deciduous forrest.

Looks like the fly which was identified as 'Clusiodes gentilis or C. caledonicus' by Stephane Lebrun.

What is the dufference between those?

To distinguish between C. gentilis and C. caledonicus you must study the male genitalia.
