hi flyforum,

Today I found a couple of Tachypeza(?) nubila(?) on bark on a tree.
Mostly running but now very quiet..

Obviously were the 'waving' forelegs of the male Tachypeza.
It was waving its forelegs seperately in the air during the mating.

I guess it is Tachypeza nubila, but I am not familiair with these flies..

Greeting Robert,
