Dear all;

Enclosed a fly I took on river banks of Danube in Upper Austria (~250m) last weekend. Size ~ 12-15mm.
From body and head I would say an Asilidae - but it has naked feet -> not very suited for catching pray.. In gallery I couldn't find an Asilidae with a black spot on wings.

Thanks for help..

best regards;

Norbert.
