No, this is something else as there's no dark shadow along the costa. Its been a while since I looked at these flies, but the thickened arista makes me think of Hendelia beckeri.

It is definately Hendelia beckeri, in Sweden there are not many records of this species.

Isn't those dark fore tarsi fantastic? I'd love to see one alive to see if they use them fore some kind of display.

Hi,

what kind of literature can be used for Clusiidae? I have some material here waiting for ID.

For the moment, I use a combination of Faune de France and Keys to the European part of Russia (both available online), but I assume something better is available?
