It may be a common genus, but the mouthparts of this 3 - 3.5 mm long fly are so interesting... By small brook, forest, Bukk-mountains.

I would want clearer pics of the scutellum (to see if it has a well-formed tubercle); the mid coxa (to see if it has a strong bristle); and the genitalia (just to be sure ;)) Good leg and wing pics are necessary too.

Hi, I think it was a female, I did not find any clear structure at tip of abdomen to photograph... But I made some other photos...

Can't quite see ... does the mid coxa have a strong light or dark bristle on the outer surface?
