Hi, is this an Opomyzid? It was constantly examining the leaf it sat on with forelegs (bit like the famous Tethina lusitanica). A really nice fly, I think. About 5-6 mm. Forest, by brook.

This is another specimen, maybe different gender? Antenna is colored differently, for example.

I changed my mind to Sciomyzidae or maybe Phaeomyiidae (the latter would be great, but wings are not dark enough...)

Hi, I checked some characters. First of all, the second fly must be a different species. About the first (of which the 3rd photo is also about) It seems to be Sciomyza, based on head colour and form and setae of legs. 3rd segment of antenna black, distinct border with yellow-brown other parts of antenna. I can see mesopleura clearly bare, pteropleura bears setae (I checked on specimen). I only don't see the sternopleural hairs, maybe they're to small. I think all this points to
Sciomyza dubia Fall. Am I right? Wha could be the 2nd?

Thank You Nikita, I did not notice that Sciomyza dubia is now P. dubia, but now I'll change the names of my photos :)
