Found near a stream today. Seemed to be a fresh one.

On a nearby leaf a cocoon like thing was found.
Is it a puparium of fly?

It definitely reminds me of Euphyllophila, which I got in NEpal. I would need a lateral shot to be more sure.
It still might be some odd Dexiini

Thanks, that confirmes my suggestion

NB: I'm not an expert in Oriental Tachinidae, so it might be a close relative.; However. Euphyllophila is rather peculiar and aberrant genus, so ....
