Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Stegana (Drosophilidae) (23.05.09)

Hello!
I think, this amazingly looking 5-6 mm fly must be
Stegana sp., but it does not resemble those in the gallery. Is a species ID possible?
Found yesterday on the same pile of beech wood in the forest as these (possible)
Clusiidae (northwest Germany).

I wont'hazard a guess with a proper lateral view, and even then...
