Hi, very nice coloured mama Phoridae. May 20.2009 Helsinki, Finland.

I usually don't keep Phoridae because I can't get an ID. This one was so unusually coloured and large, so I was hoping maybe someone has seen this kind of fly before.

Thank You so much. This id was very wellcome surprise :) In our list florea is an older name for florescens (Turton, 1801).

Yes, florescens is a junior synonym of the name D. florea.
