I saw this Tachinid in the 'Drents-Friese Woud', a woodland area in Northern Holland. Comparing images, I concluded it might well be Tachina lurida. Corfirmation/correction sought!

What is the distribution in Holland?

Supplemental: along dirt road, sunny side, resting on shrubs. Oak-Birch forest, Fir never far away.

OK, Drents-Friese Woud is a bit aspecific, I agree.

Coordinates: X 220.895 ; Y 546.674

What status does this species have in Holland?

This species is restricted to the higher sandy soils in NL, not so common, mostly Veluwe.
First nothern record.
