About 20-30 individuals were found yesterday near some dog droppings, next to a road in a secondary forest nature reserve.
Most of them walked on leaves / droppings, and they "greeted" each other just like what ants did.
Two of them were of bigger size and brownish body colour, while others were in black.

Other flies around were some Muscidae and Sarcophagidae species, plust two Ptecticus aurifer (or relatives)

One of the bigger, brownish ones. Same species but different sex?
