Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyiidae

The Netherlands, Bargerveen. 30 april 2009.
A dozen or so on the soil of a path. circa 5,5 mm.

It has a diagnostic brown stripe over thorax and scutellum, but i am far from certain about this id.

The last picture is a female (not 100% sure the same species)

No, another Anthomyiidae. A.monilis has widely separated eyes even in male
