Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyia in garden (30.04.09)

Hello!

There were many of them on leaves in our garden (northwest Germany) today, exclusively males. Most of them were only about 4 mm, but some were bigger (5-6 mm), and I think the thorax marking is a bit different. Nevertheless all the same species (Anthomyia procellaris perhaps?)?
