@Monsti: Hm, I found photos of Systoechus ctenopterus in the www, but i'm not sure. I found also photos of "Bombylius minor". What is the different between both species?
I would like to know another opinion/answer of an expert:-)

thanx

best regards
markus

edit: In the diptera-gallery I didn't found B. minor (no photos)

It is Bombylius, differences well represented in wing venation. I would say B. posticus?

@Erikas:
Thanx for your posting!

I think Bombylius posticus isn't the correct answer, because the venation and the coloration of the wings are different (I compared my photos with photos of b.posticus in the diptera-gallery).

I hope a correct answer will be found. ;-)

best wishes

Hey Markus,
the coloration of the wings are different, just because in photos of b.posticus in the diptera-gallery are males;)

best guess Bombylius venosus but could be B. trichurus.
