I saw this Tachinid last sunday in the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen; open dune landscape, partly open sand, partly herbaceous vegetation, slaso shrubs and woodland.

I thought first Eurithia anthofila, but then
1. scutellum reddish (greyish in Eurithia)
2. top cel almost closed (wider open in my photo;s of Eurithia)
3. veins strongly colored (not so in my Eurithia)

So, is it different?

female Bothria frontosa, nearly only found in the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen, these days (in The Netherlands, that is).
