Mid tibia and basitarsus distinctly ornamented, so it is
Dolichopus plumipes

Thanks Igor..
The fly only had 3 legs left :|, luckily for me,one held the key to its ID :). I assume it is a male with all that tackle hanging off the back end.

I cannot really see an ornamented mid leg.
Roger, could you add a photo where the mid leg is visible?

Thank you
Stefan

Other photo's are either on my Portable Hard Disc at work or been sent to Recycle Bin (now empty). Fly is at work in a plastic cup among the others I have found, so will take photo' this evening...assuming I can find all the bits. I think its the only one with yellow legs. Hope you guys aren't going to fall-out over a dead fly :|.

Hope this clears it up. Igor (Eagle-Eyes) Grichanov would appear to be right.
Well I missed the whole mid-leg in my count...:|.

Sorry for not sending in a proper photo in the first place :|.
As I said previously..I didn't even see that leg in the first 2 photo's. Took me a while to figure out which leg was which as it was in a bit of a tangle, and only ~3mm in size.

Regards Roger
Thank you for the time spent on this little guy.
