Found this one at work this evening at Scatsta Airport. Size (body) 7-8mm ish. Name anyone?
More angles available if needed.

I've gone through my Checklist and the Gallery, concluded this is some kind of Sciomyzidae, of which I have a single species, Tetanocera robusta. Anyone know if I'm right/wrong?
Regards Roger

I know. You are right about family, but you are wrong about genus. So:
1. Happy birthday
2. Hydromya dorsalis, female

Hi Nikita
Well Family right for me is good.
1. Thank you for the outpouring of sympathy for the passing of another year.
2. More thanks for H.dorsalis. I went right past it in the Gallery. My one looks a lot darker...maybe need more exposure / light in my photo.
