Hello,
I found these small diptera in my garden (Western Netherlands) just the other day. I first thought they were
Anthomyiidae but I was (positively correctly) corrected on the Dutch forum of Waarneming.nl: it's more likely to be
Fanniidae. Can anyone confirm? Or perhaps even go for a full ID? :|
Thank you very much.

Same fl, different focus:

Same species, different individual:

This one was taken somewhere else. Could well be a totally different fly...

No luck today! 3 different flies, no one of them Fanniidae.
1. Anthomyiidae - mouth projected, several setae on t1 visible. May be Phorbia...
2. Muscidae, Hebecnema or Hydrotaea
3. Again Anthomyiidae, I think Egle

:D Well, at least I wasn't completely wrong when I called them Anthomyiidae. This could well be my lucky day. :)
Thank you Nikita.
