Hello,
is it possible, to identify this fly? The photo was taken 13. April 2009 outside my house in Germany, North-Bavaria. Size 5 mm. Thanks in advance.

Recently emerged male Chironomidae, with Hydracarina (water mite) larvae attached left and right. No suggestion as to which species.
