Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Fly from Hong Kong: "pseudo"-Celyphidae

Found in a seasonal pool (now is dry) yesterday. Body length about 5mm.
I and my friend do not think it is a beetle fly but its shape certainly resembles so.
Can it be identified to family level?
Sorry that most of the photos are out of focus.
