This morning I photographed this Tachin in the Netherlands by Grave near a forest on wet grounds. On the forum of Waarneming.nl came the suggestion of Phorocera obscura.
Best regards,
André

Today I saw this Tachinidae again at the same place as yesterday and i could take 2 other photo's of it. With this extra photo's is it now possible to give a definitive ID?

Best regards,
André

Well, Andre, it is very unwise to assume that this is the same Tachinid, given the fact that pictures are taken with hours interpauze. There are many Tachinidae looking alike.

However, it is indeed again Phorocera obscura.

Theo, it was my intention to say that this fly was perhaps of the same spec. as the one I saw before...

Thanks for the determination :)
