Dear Forum,

I took this picture yesterday in my garden in Putte, The Netherlands. Is it possible to identify it? Regretfully this is the only picture I have since the fly left after the first shot.

Best regards,
Niek

Crossveins infuscated, 2 presutural acrostichals and general "black and white" appearance..
Phaonia trimaculata could be possible..

Dear Joke,

Thank you for your reply. "Could be possible" .... How certain/uncertain is that? Could anyone confirm this?

Best regards,
Niek
