Hi, only Muscidae with dark wings I have is Hebecnema vespertina. Can this be close to it ? :| 25.5.2008 Helsinki, Finland.

Only curious and try to learn....
But are the halteres not to yellow for vespertina..?
Eyes seems bare and yellow fringe on lower calypter......I was thinking of H.nigricolor.....or do I mis something important..:D

H. nigricolor has partly yellow legs. Yellow halters and almost bare eyes are correct characaters for
H. vespertina !
The only thing that bothers me on this photo is that t3 should have 2 av.
