From last summer, 3 August 2008. Drents-Friese woud, at boundary of woodland and meadow, in ditch. Reasonably sized, some 10 mm. Is ID possible?

probably one of Eurithia species of tribe Ernestiini

Yes, pale face with projecting mouth edge; densely hairy eyes; dark basicosta means it should be Eurithia or a closely related genus :)
