I leave this as E. sp, as I keyed out a few of these last year, and they seem to be EU. zimini, if my literture correctly destribes it.

What key do you use?

I used the appropriate volume of Fauna Hungariae (contains Muscidae and Fanniidae) written by Mihalyi in the late sixties and early seventies. The separation of these species reles on leg chaetotaxy. Mihalyi stated that the two species (cyanicolor and zimini) are equally distributed in Hungary. It s difficult to know how reliable this work is, as Mihalyi tended to make many mistakes in his late years, description of many vague species etc.
