several of these from my malaise 17.6.2007 Loviisa, Finland. Any suggestions ?

should be Pegomya, Anthomyiidae

It is Pegomya, tabida Meigen species group. This has about 11 species in it, this photo looks like vittigera Zett.. Have you a dorsal view

No it is not vittigera which has a narrow black median vittae on scutum. I think now it might be Pegomya geniculata which belongs in another species group. The widely spaced presutural acrostichals point to this species. I am afraid only examination of the genitalia and 5th sternite will identify it. The latter is hidden by the hind femur
