Hi;
today I photographed this fly... Location: Ostend, Belgium, in wetland with much Phragmites australis. Its a Sepedon (I think); but I don't really know the difference between spinipes/speghea..
Is it possible to give ID from this picture?
And what are the differences between those two?
Many thanks in advance;
Bye, Jonas

the difference between spinipes/speghea.
is easy - S.sphegea has black body. Your fly is indeed S.spinipes
