L.flavicornis is real predator, catching other flies. So is L. bengalensis.
L. binotata seems rather carrion feeder that predator. Males think mostly about sex than about feeding. Females check everything on floating leaves and sand and stones. It makes objects ID difficult even in cases of microscopic examination of "its"
