An Anthomyia sp. Any chance for species level? From the Mediterranean coast.

It is probably a male of Anthomyia quinquemaculata Macq. although I can't see the structural characters which would confirm this (the 5th sternite in lateral view). The ad setae on mid tibia appears to be absent or small, and the shape of the lateral black spot on the thorax (above wing base) is only weakly connected to t he latter, this ppoints to quinquemaculata which is a Mediterranean species

Thx Michael for the help. This fly looked a little bit different than the similar flies from Hungary.
